The primary factors that affect project success is project schedule, and the schedule, cost and quality are the three main objectives of project schedule. The project schedule is a dominant goal and the project schedule information is transparent to all project stakeholders. The project stakeholders can clearly know whether the project schedule is in advance or delay. Running the project schedule management method is not only to control the project schedule effectively but also to provide the enterprise a strong theoretical basis. Project schedule management will control the cost and quality of the project.In the actual project management, project schedule management theory can also play a important role to project implementation.This paper's object is Shenhuaguohua Taicang Power Generation Limited Company's no.7 service set 6 KV switch cabinet reconstruction. The characteristics of the project are time limited and high risk. This paper first introduced the background and the significance of switch cabinet transformation project, proposing the main content of this paper; then analyzes the basic theory and basic conditions of project. This paper analyses project schedule risk and puts forward the risk control strategy. Due to the special nature of the project, adequate preparation should be prepared in the earlier stage of project, on the late stage of the project, it needs to use some of the progress of the project control measures to strictly control the progress of the project. This paper is based on the critical chain to carry out research, the research is in two different conditions, one is a situation in time limit, using the resources of balance method. Another is a situation in enough time and resource constrains, using the critical path to compression of the time a project, reducing the cost of project. Running the project schedule management can not only control the project progress but also the project quality and cost. In this paper, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is used to evaluate project quality, also, the paper put forwards the quality and cost control strategy in the final of the paper to make quality and cost to be controlled comprehensively. Switch cabinet reconstruction project complete on time can provides worthy experience to similar projects in the future of learning.
