| The development level of special education is an important embodiment of the country civilization, and the receiving of special education in our country is usually thought the special education school. Special children, by attending special education school, can access to knowledge, repair personality, promote physical and mental health. The special education school can also enhance their social ability, which can realize their personal value in daily life.With the development of the special education, many international mainstream special educational methods have been gradually absorbed in our country. Such as "inclusive education", "inclusive education" promote no discriminatory education, pay more attention in cooperation and positive interaction. This open education idea and process has been confirmed and extended by more and more scholars. In our country, the special education is paying more attention in special children’s mental health, focus on the cultivation of the special children’s ability to communicate with the outside world. "Montessori education" and other advanced education methods has been widely used in special education. Due to the special children’s diversity activities in daily life, and their poor activities compared to normal children, indoor activity space of special education school in our country can’t meet the needs at present. Therefore, in today’s development situation of special education, to create a comfortable, diverse, open learning and living environment for special children has become the focal point concerned by educators and architects.Based on the above, this paper, refer to the special children psychology, special education science and environmental psychology theory, try to raise the special education school indoor resting activity space design strategy by consider of special children’s demand. The paper analysed the present situation of special education school in China and special children’s behavior mental by field research and literature studies. Seek the indoor resting space demand of special children thought the research results.
