Abstract/Summary:
The development level of special education reflects the degree of civilization and progress of society.The core of the scientific development concept is people-oriented.Realizing the wishes of the masses,meeting the needs of the masses,and safeguarding the interests of the masses is a dynamic and continuous development process.With the continuous increase in the number of students with intellectual disabilities in special education schools in the compulsory education stage in China in recent years,the number of students with hearing disabilities has gradually declined with the development of medicine and the improvement of treatment methods.Next,some deafmute schools have begun to recruit students with intellectual disabilities,and they have transformed into deaf-mute intellectual special comprehensive schools.Although there have been some studies on the space environment of special education schools in China and literature on the functional transformation of special education schools in pedagogy,there is no information on how architectural spaces can be transformed to respond to the functional changes of special education schools.Based on the above background,on the basis of collecting and collating domestic and foreign data research,this paper refers to the theoretical research on special children’s psychology,physiology and behavior,tries to start from the needs of special students for the school’s architectural space environment,and combines two main groups of users The difference in space requirements proposes a special education school design strategy based on functional transformation.Through the investigation on the current situation of the use of architectural space in Peizhi School and comprehensive special education schools,the problems found in the investigation are analyzed and sorted out,and the demand for functional transformation is proposed.Taking this as the starting point,the influencing factors of functional transformation are analyzed from three aspects: the overall layout before transformation,the difference in the composition of functional houses and the difference in the space of ordinary classrooms in combination with research examples,foreign excellent cases and architectural design standards of special education schools.The design principles of special education schools based on functional transformation and the design of independent special education schools transformed into comprehensive special education schools are proposed,including functional zoning design based on functional transformation and transformation methods of functional replacement.
