Catholic church is one of the important Western religious architecture forms., and catholic church is an important part of modern buildings in Wuhan. Boquan Catholic Church is the best-preserved church among the existing six catholic churches in Wuhan. Owing to the suburban situation, and the use as a school during the Cultural Revolution, Boquan Catholic Church fortunately retains its appearance as the church established, which makes Boquan Catholic Church very unique.The present studies of catholic churches in Wuhan are mostly conducted from a macro perspective. This paper starts from the in-depth study of Boquan Catholic Church, then discusses it's vicissitudes, and then discusses the development of catholic churches in Wuhan.The article is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is about the background and the basis of this research to the study of the status quo at home and abroad contextual analysis, and summary of the premise, it put forward a study of the Boquan Catholic Church as a starting point in Wuhan Catholic Church changes proposed feasible research methods and research value. The second chapter is about the study of the Boquan Catholic Church. Chapter ? is about the study the origins of the Boquan Catholic Church, through a summary of historical data and comparative analysis of the Italian case of historic buildings, the church has a profound history and relationship with the Holy Family Chinese College at Naples, Italy, Boquan Catholic Church is influenced by Italian architectural features. Fourth chapter study the change process of the Boquan Catholic Church from the aspects of location analysis, changes of recovery, building function changes and people involves. Chapter V is about the comparative analysis of the existing Catholic Church in Wuhan based on the study of the plan and architecture, we found that although there will be local architectural style and local material in the construction of Wuhan Catholic Church, they are more retained themselves as Western religious architecture features. The sixth chapter is about the changes of Wuhan Catholic Church, and after sorting through the analysis of historical data and comparing the changing processes, we can find some rules in Wuhan Catholic Church Change:After a period of semi-feudal society, lots of Catholic churchs are built a large number in Wuhan; after new China was founded in 1949, Wuhan Catholic religious activity began to decrease; during the Cultural Revolution, Wuhan mostly Catholic Church was severely damaged; after the reform and opening, Wuhan Catholic church gradually restored to its original activities. Chapter VII is the conclusion, clearly the results of the research and summarizes the changes of Catholic Church in Wuhan.
