Explorayion Of The Design Method Of Catholic Church In Contemporary China

As the sanctuary where God is present and the place where believers are pilgrims and prayers,the church occupies an important position in the Catholic Church.Since the reform and opening up 40 years ago,with the implementation of the religious reform policy,many churches have been built throughout China,but most of the newly built churches have not yet emerged from the "new Gothic" church building model.With the advancement of contemporary construction technology and the development of church theology,the design of Catholic churches in China should follow the footsteps of the times(According to the division of world history,since the end of World War II in 1945)and follow the path of contemporary design.Combining with the contemporary church building of Xing'an Village in Gaocheng City,thispaper explores the ideas and methods of modern design of contemporary Catholic church building from four aspects: environment,style,functional space and indoor environment,which are the focus of architectural design.The main body of the thesis is divided into six chapters.The first chapter discusses the contemporary requirements of the architectural design of contemporary Catholic churches in China,points out its symptoms,and proves the necessity of contemporary design of Catholic church buildings from the perspectives of the Catholic Church,Protestantism and contemporary society.The second chapter explores The relationship between contemporary Catholic church architecture and the environment,discussing the church buildings in different venues,how to deal with the surrounding environment;The third chapter discusses the formation of contemporary Catholic church architecture,according to the contemporary popular architectural trend analysis,Exploring the design methods of various styles of church buildings under the influence of different thoughts;The fourth chapter analyzes the layout trends of contemporary Catholic church architectural function space,explores the development and innovation of functional space layout in the new era;The fifth chapter studies the interior of contemporary Catholic church buildings' space environment treatment,explore how to use various elements to create the sacredness of space,while taking into account the user's feelings;Chapter 6 as a summary.In addition,at the beginning of the third chapter to the fifth chapter,the history of this part is introduced in a certain space to form a clear vein.
