| Urbanization is a strong support for economic growth,this view has been demonstrated in the academic community.In the past 30 years,development model of "high input,high consumption,high growth,high emissions,high pollution" is significant to promote the development process of China’s urbanization,but the urbanization of this extensive type of development has brought a heavy burden to the ecological environment.At the same time,China is facing the severe situation of resource constraints,serious environmental pollution,ecological degradation.Therefore,the quality of urbanization and ecological environment has become the focus of scholars and policy makers.Economic development is the premise to maintain a good ecological environment,so at present,in-depth study of the impact between the two mechanisms that contribute to the future out of a sustainable development path,will also provide a useful reference for China’s urbanization and economic development,but also has some theoretical value and practical significance.This paper in reference to the previous scholars on the basis of relevant theories and research methods,based on the popular international academia PSR framework,and application of factor analysis our country ecological environment comprehensive index was synthesized,and analysis of historical development,the analysis shows that our country’s ecological environment comprehensive index in general has increased year by year,the economy after entering the new normal growth is slowing.Secondly,the empirical analysis in this paper selected two variables of population urbanization and urban economy in the process of urbanization,representing the development speed and quality of urbanization,and establish TVP-VAR model to analyze the time varying characteristics of population urbanization,economic urbanization and ecological environment.The results show that the population urbanization can produce positive effect on ecosystem environment,namely,according to the current state,the transfer of population to urban areas will reduce the load of ecological environment;On the other hand,the economic urbanization are long-term negative impact on the ecological environment,is not conducive to the sustainable development of human economy and life.Further study in this paper,combined with the actual situation of China’s economic development shows the final dynamic impact of China’s urbanization on the ecological environment is the role of population urbanization and economic urbanization,and there are different manifestations in different periods.Before The New Normal,Economic urbanization occupy a dominant position,As the country’s economic growth slowsdown,economy caused by the negative impact of urbanization has a tendency to decrease gradually.Thirdly,based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions: adjust the existing industrial structure of our country to realize the industrial upgrading,form the comprehensive management system of pollution prevention and environmental protection technology development.At the same time,the reform of the household registration system is still the focus of the development of urbanization,the future economic development should strive to achieve a win-win economic growth and environmental protection in the process of urbanization.The characteristics of this paper are as follows: On the one hand,this paper takes into account the connotation of the ecological environment,which can be used to measure the comprehensive development level of ecological environment in China;On the other hand,in view of the dynamic nature of the linkage of economic variables,this paper uses the time-varying parameter vector autoregressive(TVP-VAR)model,from the dual perspective of population urbanization and economic urbanization to capture the impact of urbanization on ecological environment and points out that the synergistic effect of the two finally determines the impact of urbanization on the ecological environment. |
