The Efficiency Of Special Inquiry Learning Organized By A Botanical Garden And Its Influencing Factors Affecting

According to the investigation, our country citizen science quality level has been a great gap compared with developed countries.Improve citizen science quality has the very vital significance to enhance the ability of citizens to acquire and use science and technology knowledge, improve life quality,achieve all-round development,improve the country's capacity for independent innovation,build an innovative country, achieve comprehensive, balanced and sustainable economic and social development, build a harmonious socialist society. Informal education is more and more effective to improve the role of the citizen science quality as a supplement of formal education.As a science communication, Botanical garden is worth thinking about how to use its own resources advantage to have the effect of communication science and improve the quality of the citizen science.In order to solve this problem Wuhan Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences held a large-scale project exploratory learning activities "botanist logs- day botanist" in 2015 the summer vacation which combined resources of inquiry study and botanical garden.By reading literature, this thesis tries to sort out the development of inquiry-Based learning at home and abroad and the development of botanical science in China.Combining with the theory of cognitive psychology and constructivism, it is analyzes the efficiency of inquiry-Based learning.According to the results, the paper further analyzes the factors that affect this activity.Finally put forward that the campers,leaders, infrastructure, processes and staffs can effective improve Botanical Garden's Special Inquiry learning efficiency.Inquiry-Based learning plays an significant role in cultivating citizens' scientific literacy. Combining Inquiry learning with botanical garden can give play to the resource advantage of botanical garden, teach the public,cultivate citizens' scientific literacy,provide the reference for development of science communication places.
