Nowadays,environmental education gets increasing concern,and be considered as a key of protecting environment.There are many ways to carry out environmental education,including scholastic environmental education,familial environmental education and social environmental education.Botanical Garden's environmental education is an important constituent of social education.The environmental education through botanical gardens not only imparts scientific knowledge,but also be beneficial to its progress.Environmental education concerning botanical gardens is different from the scholastic environmental education,it has its own uniqueness.So this paper tries to construct a theoretical pattern which suitable for Botanical Garden's environmental education.This theoretical pattern is composed of theoretical aspect,implementation,safeguard and evaluation.From the theoretical aspect,it includes educational object,principle,content,receiver and theoretical basis.The chief theoretical are based on environmental education,continuous development,environmental ethics,Environmental interpretation and inquiry learning.As to principle,science,participation and extensiveness are to be implemented in education process. Moreover,the education objects are composed of consciousness,attitude,knowledge,technique and participation.Then it analyses the content,receiver,implementation strategy,safeguards, evaluation and so on,finally the paper tries to create its own theoretical system.From the practical aspect,this paper studies Nanjing Botanical garden as a case.It uses spot survey and questionnaires as methods,studies the status of environmental education in there.At last this paper puts forward some related suggestion of improving the status quo.This case can have practical guiding significance to domestic botanical garden's environmental education. |
