The Erotylidae is a group of fungus-eating beetles, belonging to the Cucujoidea of Coleoptera. Species have highly ornamental with shape diversity, gorgeous colour. Some species are serious pests to the mushroom, i.e. champignon, oyster mushroom, etc. In recent years, some species are taken gradually and seriously in the production. Studies of the Erotylidae families in Hebei province has always been the lack on the species resources comprehensive survey. But the research on its taxonomy and biology are rarely reported. The congnition and application knowledges of Erotylidae is poor, so it is necessary to begin clearing the resources and developing the reasonable prevention methods in Hebei province. So the study possesses important theory value and practical significance. In this paper, by using the traditional classical classification methods combining with electron microscope scanning, 10 species belonging to 7 genera of Erotylidaes from Hebei province are preliminary recorded basing on the specimens collected from field trips and the borrow specimens. Among of them, one specie is the new recorded of China, i.e. Tritoma sobrina(Lewis, 1909). 7 species are recorded for the first time from Hebei province, i.e. Dacne picta Crotch, 1873; Episcapha(Psiloscapha) morawitzi(Solsky, 1871); Megalodacne bellula Lewis, 1883; Encaustes cruenta formosana Ch?j?, 1964; Aulacochilus sibiricus Reitter, 1879; Episcapha(Episcapha) flavofasciata(Reitter, 1879); Neotriplax arisana Miwa, 1929. Deseribes the species in detail attaching with photos of adult, head, pronotum, antenna, foot, male and female genitalia, female spermatheca; and make a key to the 10 species.By studying with the distribution area in Hebei province, the distributing map are made in the paper. the results show that: mainly species distributed in the northwest of Hebei. This region are characterized by the complex terrain, abundant vegetation types and widely distributed fungi. So the suitable living environment and plenty of food can be provided for the Erotylidae in this area.Through the field observation and indoor breeding, the biological characteristics research of Tritoma sobrina has been taken. The results indicate as follows: larvae long circular shape with a bit thin ends, longer duration in 4th instar. And the naked pupa is white with a shorter duration; The adult has small wide ovoid shape habituated to false deadly and daytime activities. The pictures of those three periods are given. Two harmful species, Dacne japonica and D. picta, are determined in Hebei province. The features and hazards of the D. picta are observed and analyzed. Using scanning electron microscope, three pronunciation structures of the D. picta are observed. Such as, head stridulatory file and pronotom ridge structure mutual-friction; elytra stridulatory areas and abdominal stridulatory areas; elytra stridulatory areas and hind wing stridulatory areas mutual-friction. The three pronunciation structures provide basic data of the voice booby for the prevention methods. For the champignon and the other fungi plants in the greenrooms, the best prevention period is before the pests get into the tent, the best control insect state is adult stage, and the best prevention methods is light trap.Appendix : The Erotylidae directory of China.
