Research On Project Quality Management Of A Company’s Low Speed Electric Vehicle Development

With the continuous development of society, people are increasingly concerned about their living environment. In this context, as part of the most common sources of pollution in our daily lives, the motor vehicle emissions has become the hottest topic nowadays. With the European emission standards continue to increase, our country has ushered in standard V and standard VI implementation of the scheme. Emission standards improving, also led to higher costs. As a company which mainly product motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles, Company A is facing a severe situation in the keen competition of markets.Thus, in the process of seeking change, Company A committed to solve the motor vehicle emissions and make the pure electric low-speed electric cars which have the state strongly support as their main research directions. At the same time, they set up a new energy vehicles division. The authors through analyzing the company’s existing management and taking part in the field research, project development and quality management practices, in order to write this articles, and the key elements as following:Firstly, this paper reviewed the existing theories of project management and quality management, at the same time, it also analyzed the industry environment of electric car and the EV project development and management of Company A’s current situation. According to the results, we found that the project quality management must be improved, and use this as our research direction.Secondly, the project quality management is an important part of the company’s development strategy, in order to protect the quality of R & D projects, we must be carried out effective quality planning. Through reviewing the relevant quality control documents and sample quality inspection records, interviewing with relevant quality management personnel and field research. We took the qualitative analysis of the status of R & D Quality Control, Health Quality Management, the quality of components and so on. Analysis showed that:the quality management system is not suitable for new electric car project; inspectors’check method is not precise enough method and the standard of check is model clear enough; development department deletion pre-development phase of the Quality Planning; the quality assessment system of supplier is not perfect, and they pay more attention to cost, while ignore the quality; stuff’s lack of awareness of quality and stuff’s participation of quality management is not enough.Finally, according to the above quality problem, the production reason and the actual situation of the company, we provide the solutions respectively and make sure these solutions can be used effectively.In conclusion, the contents of this paper are closing to the current situation of Company A’s new Energy Division low-speed electric car project, and combining to the theory and method of modern project quality management. In addition, we carried out effective practical application in the daily management. We hope that the contents, processes and methods of this paper have certain significance for the other similar projects.
