The Research Of Lean Improvement Of The Products Warehouse Management Of The CN Company

With the market competition becoming more and more fierce, the enterprises compete in the fields of cost, technology, management and the supply chain, quick and efficient response to customers’ requirements has become the key advantage in the competition. Warehousing is one of the important steps of the circulation of the commodity,but also the important pillar of the logistics activities, it connects the enterprises with the customers, plays an essential role in the supply chain, and also is important to the entire logistics system. As one important tool of lean production, The value stream mapping is guided by the requirements of the customers, and can show related material flow and information flow in the business processes in the form of chart to help the managers to search waste, implement the lean improvement and finally realize the scientific and efficient management.Based on the above background, this thesis took the products warehouse management of the CN company as the research object, studied on its lean improvement. Firstly, introduced the research status of warehouse management and value stream map analysis. Then, systematically combed related theories of warehouse management, lean thinking and value stream analysis. Then, on the basis of the theories studied, systematically analyzed the present situation and problems of the product warehouse management of the CN company, mapped the current value stream map of the outdoor cable of the CN company, analyzed its value stream to search all kinds of waste. Finally, focusing on the waste and problems in product warehouse management, mapped the future value stream map of the outdoor cable, put forward a series of lean improvement measures, compared the expected effect after improvement with effect before improvement. The lean improvement measures proposed is as follows:(1) to improve the packing process; (2) optimized the delivery process; (3) planned and redesigned the warehouse; (4) put forward the product warehouse management system based on RFID positioning technology.Through analyzing the value stream of the product warehouse management of the CN company, this thesis studied the application of value stream analysis method in warehouse management, introduced the modern information technologies such as RFID identification and RFID positioning into the lean improvement case, built a digital warehouse management system based on RFID positioning technology. It provided a theoretical basis for the CN company to construct the modern warehouse management system, improve operation efficiency, save cost and reduce inventory, and also has a certain reference significance to the lean improvement of warehouse management in other enterprises.
