Research On Supply Chain Warehouse Management And System Design Based On RFID

Warehouse is one of logistics system integrated parts. It is responsible for storage and management item in origin, consumer or between these two. It can also provide information of status, conditions and treatment of stored items for managers. With the increasing importance of warehouse in logistics strategy, warehouse has occupied a central position in logistics management and become a core aspect of supply chain management, from the logistics point of view in developed countries.Logistic warehouse management based on supply chain involves in large variety of products. The warehouse process management and structure is extremely complex and often refers to large geographical span. Therefore, the request for accurate and timely information becomes much stricter than ever before. At present, warehouse management is basically at a state of bar code management or artificial management. It often makes human error. Because bar code has the characteristics of ease of replication, non-moisture proof and vulnerable to pollution. So warehouse management in our country always has many defects.Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), the automatic identification technology basing on radio frequency, is showing the potential advantages on the market and promoting the development of logistics management and supply chain management because of its advantages on quick, invisible, mobile, multi-target identification, orientation, track management, and so on. It is the trend of development of automatic identification and has important influence on modern industry and service.This dissertation studies the key factor of the application of RFID in warehouse management based on supply chain. Firstly the dissertation made a more comprehensive summary of the relevant principles of RFID and warehouse management theory. By analyzing the problem in business process of the traditional warehouse management, this paper optimizing the business process of the warehouse management based on RFID technology, and proved RFID's value in warehouse management, such as enhancing economic performance and reducing labor cost. Finally this paper analyzed and designed the warehouse management information system based on RFID technology. The innovation points of this paper(1) Optimized the business process of the warehouse management by using RFID technology, and proved the strength of the new process from the time cost and value chain.(2) Designed a new warehouse management system which integrates the C/S structure and B/S structure. The new system can help to improve the efficiency of the warehouse management and make information sharing within supplier, retailer and the business oneself become possible.(3) Designed three-decker system in the part of C/S structure. It realized the speed of the tags' data capture and the converting between physical signal and data information.
