Study On Scale Farming In Biyang County Beef Cattle

Biyang county is a large agricultural county in Henan province of animal husbandry, especiallybeef farming occupies an important position in the whole agricultural economy. The county isa large county of beef cattle breeding in Henan Province, developed China’s first brand of beef cattle-- Xia Nan cattle, is the national straw cattle Demonstration County, county beef cattle development project of World Bank loan. In recent years, affected by domesticproduction, social and economic situation, around the overall amount of beef cattle herdsreduced year by year, Biyang County reduction is also very obvious. As the cattle farming county tradition, many areas have no cattle village, no cattle, that people enthusiasm for cattle breeding in the lower, the reason for this may be many, this paper will discuss the benefits of beef cattle breeding scale.Biyang County beef cattle breeding has good farming tradition, rich farming experience. But the level of development of beef industry in Biyang county is relatively low, there are a lot ofproblems, the economic benefits of beef cattle industry in general is relatively low. This paper takes Henan province cattle breeding representative of Biyang County as an example, in Biyang County beef cattle breeding in different modes as the starting point, through field research, data consolidation, analysis of economic benefits of different modes of beef cattle breeding in Biyang county. Through the comparison of different fattening mode of economic benefits analysis, explore the costs and benefits of different feeding mode, hope to explore afeeding mode suited to local conditions, the higher the level of net income. Finally, from the two aspects of macro and micro put forward higher feasibility and policy recommendations,provide a reference for the choice of different scale of farming and government decision-making.
