Root knot nematode, parasiticing on the roots of crops, is a class of plant pathogen diseases threatening the world agricultural production. In general, it causes10-20%of the crop reduction, but in severity, it may reach more than75%. In Current agricultural production, usage of chemicals is remaining the main method to control nematode, and Fuqiduo (Fosthiazate), with high efficiency and low toxicity, is the most widely used nematicide in production practice.In this study, based on briefly explaination of occurrence condition, occurrence regularity, commonly used control methods and commonly used chemical of root knot nematode, it introduced the chemical with great safety, low toxicity, high efficiency and environmental friendliness to prevent and control the root knot nematode. Fuqiduo (Fosthiazate), as a kind of safe, highly efficient and low toxic nematicides, was investigated and analysed according to the authors’practical experience. Main research results were as follows:1. A comparative analysis of typical marketing models around China was carried out. And, these models varied according to the different planting type in different regions. For instance, in Shandong, a region mainly with retail investors, it was importantly focus on product popularization which achieved by abundant experiment and demonstration, comprehensive promotion of products, extensive training for farmers, necessary administrative support and practical merchandising. In Hainan, a region mainly with bases, it importantly concerned the product marketing strategy including brand strategy model, follower saleing model, concept marketing model, interpersonal communication model, and enterprise-leading producer docking model etc.2. Investigating results illustrated a few marketing problems of Fuqiduo (Fosthiazate) in China, including lacking of basic promotion, shallow and narrow application publicity, short of extension worker at the grass-roots and poor service quality, Inadequate attention to the cooperation with the grass-roots promotion department of agricultural technology, obsolete extension methods and hysteretic promotion concept, thin consciousness of science and technology of farmers, defective communication between extension workers and peasants, etc. 3. A number of strategies were suggested to solve the marketing problems of Fuqiduo (Fosthiazate), for example, intensify the demonstration promotion, strengthen the training for farmers, improve the scientific and technological quality of peasants, perfect the promotion group of agricultural technology, enhance the awareness of cooperation with agricultural sector and rural cooperative, innovate the promotion concept, improve extension approach, etc.
