Design Of Performance Management System Of LT Branch Company

Since the restructuring of communications industry in October2008, China’s LT companies have been striving to gain their market share. In the new round of market competition in4G era, one of the key elements contributing to a LT company’s success is to develop a mature performance management system that matches their company strategies. Therefore, improvement of a company’s performance management system acts as a backbone in guaranteeing LT companies strategic success and industrial ranking.On the basis of literature review, case study and interview, this paper conducted a comprehensive research of a current performance management system of local a LT branch Company. In this paper, the researchers identified existing problems in the system and provided a series of improvement proposals according to the company’s strategy and goals. The proposals include:Scientific design of KPI system; Specific evaluation criteria of4G system based on3G evaluation system, and a clear rewards and punishment system; Effective communication and training sessions in each implementation process of performance evaluation; Transparency in the implementation of department performance evaluation, and conducting department performance evaluation in units; Information construction of performance evaluation system; Development and utilization of performance management system. The management of performance evaluation system involves up-to-date, comprehensive and experienced human resource management working. We expect the local LT branch Company could give priority to company performance management. An effective performance management system, combining with its company strategy and vision, is to strengthen Chinese LT companies’competitive advantages and provide a solid foundation in LT industry.
