As the trend of globalization, the scales of multinational companies becomelarger. At the same time, many foreign Enterprises came to china for business. Thisever increasing international economical intercourse has not only made the reset anddeployment of the economical resource in the world wide, but also caused theemployees from the different culture working in the same company. Therefore, crossculture management, especially in the multi-culture background, has becoming oneof the critical operating strategies in the multinational company.Siemens in this thesis is one of500Fortune. Some achievement has been madein the category of cross culture human resource management in China. But in thedaily operation, the conflicts between Chinese and Germany culture still occurs fromtime to time. In this thesis, Siemens has been taken as an example to research thecross culture human resource management.First of all, a systematic discussion to the culture, culture difference will bemade by starting from the basic theory of the cross culture management. Then itconcludes the research result of the cross culture management from the local orabroad professors. It also focuses on the discussion of the definition, character andcontent of the cross culture human resource management and the impact due to theculture conflict occurred in the multinational company.Secondly, a deep research on the cross culture human resource management inSiemens has been conducted from these perspectives: company culture, the principleand strategy of cross culture management and some functionalities of the humanresource management such as the talent selection and promotion, training and careerdevelopment, performance management and salary package setting.Last, all the cross culture problems and method will be analyzed from cultureperspective. A cross cultural strategy and its implementations was made as theconclusion. This topic through the actual case study will make use for reference ofmany foreign companies and our national companies that will do the internationalbusiness to develop culture management especially cross cultural human resourcemanagement.
