| With the steady and rapid economic development of China, there is a big improvement inthe environment of the logistics industry and infrastructure conditions, that is, the overall sizeis expanding, service level continuously improves, and the demand is increasing. In theabroad, the international economic situation has improved. Many foreign countries aregradually recovering from the economic crisis, and there are great opportunities fordevelopment in international project logistics market. The project logistics, as an importantpart of the modern logistics, has tremendous potential and broad prospects for development.Therefore, it is significant to study the project logistics development strategy of QingdaoCOSCO,since it can help Qingdao COSCO to take effective initiative to take advantage of theopportunity, develope more scientific and reasonable strategy, avoid the threat,and overcomethe weakness.Based on the review of related theory and research, this paper gives an more precisedefinition of the concept of project logistics, and provides theoretical support for the study.Based on a number of interviews with related manager, this paper combs the status ofQingdao COSCO project logistics and carrys out an specific analysis on the externaleconomic policy environment, internal technical resources environment and industrycompetitive environment of Qingdao COSCO project Logistics. The internal strengths andweaknesses and external opportunities and threats(SWOT) is summarized. A combinationmethod of qualitative and quantitative as well as SWOT-CLPV Theory Model is adopt toanalyze four situation including leverage, control, vulnerability and problem,which is resultfrom interaction among SWOT. As for the solution, this paper focuses on three aspects,thatis growth, transformation, and cooperative competition strategies, with growth strategy ascenter,transformation strategy and cooperation and competition strategy as support. Somespecific implementation method is proposed. |
