The development of state-owned enterprise has entered a new level with the highspeed developing of the economy of China. State Grid Maintenance Co. of ShanXiElectric Power Company is one of the central enterprises. The employee is a quiteimportant element for the whole company operation. As the fundamental of a strongenterprise, the front-line employee is the main factor to guarantee the normal operation ofthe ShanXi power network. It can be considered that the activities of front-line employeesdecide the safe level of production directly. Also the first-line employee can be seen as thefirst condition to achieve any target.In this paper, the reason of low enthusiasm about work and study is discussed byanalyzing the effect of existing motivation mechanism, subsidy on business tripmechanism and promotion mechanism to the employees in high voltage experimentwork team. Based on the young age characteristic, the disadvantages of existingmotivation mechanism and the importance of lack of motivation mechanism in workteam are talked. By the method of research of literature, a motivation mechanismwhich is based on hierarchy of needs theory, two-factor theory, expectancy theory andfairness theory of motivation theory has been come out to fit the work team of StateGrid Maintenance Co. of ShanXi Electric Power Company.This work team motivation mechanism proper use the performance appraisalsystem and clear the rewards and punishment standard. It cooperates with the trainingand developing plan of the company. The main objective of this motivation mechanismis to achieve the standardized management of employee, to stimulate the initiatives andcreativity of employee, and to encourage the harmonious and healthy development ofthe enterprise.
