Human resource is the most important asset of the enterprise. The competence and vitality of employee is the essential drive force for the enterprise growing. However, maximum employing the talents and tapping potential of employees has been being the challenge of the management. The management of the state-owned enterprise is thinking highly of modern motivation theories as the measure in the field of human resource, but practically there are issues need to be improved, such as simplification of motivation form, performance evaluation, etc. Diversifying the motivation form and stressing the motivating function is the orientation of the state-owned enterprise human resource mechanism reform.By using three years human resource information and data dynamic analysis, the thesis integrates S Power Supply Company’s engineering companies as a research object and finds out the problems and shortcomings of engineers companies in terms of employee motivation. Basing on the integration of the current situation and theories of management, organization behavior and human resource management, the thesis raises improvement measure and safeguard mechanism of motivation system for these engineering companies.Through the status quo analysis of engineering companies, the thesis discovers problems in aspect of employee performance evaluation, payments, training mechanism, etc. The primary reason is the management of company has very limited scope understanding of the real needs of employees, which causes the current motivation is lack of pertinence. With the reference of domestic and international motivation theories and research achievement, the thesis proposes employee motivation mechanism optimizing program, which includes improving the system of evaluation and inspiriting, optimizing compensation structure, intensifying payments inspiration and establishing the individual development plan.The thesis is trying to locate the break-point of the human resource management in the monopolistic state-owned enterprise structural reform, and expecting to contribute in the field of motivation mechanism reform of the state power industry with the thesis’ research results.
