Abstract:Nowadays, as a result of rapid development of reformation and continuous growth of China’s economy, as well as economic crisis impact, some human resource management related problems have been arisen in many companies. Human resource plays a very important and unique role. Taking research and analysis of employee engagement and needs theory, we found factors of challenge of work, sense of accomplishment, recognition and development determine if the employee has been motivated and work hard for the company. Current employee engagement status and its improvement research have become focus for companies and researchers.Like other companies, JSL Company also has been suffering with severe issues of low employee engagement. The purpose of this paper is to study and analyze engagement status of JSL Company and find out the real reason. By taking questionnaire investigation and analysis towards employee needs of JSL Company, the paper get full understanding of employees’reaction and needs to different motivation. Applying Say, Stay and Strive principle of Aon Hewitt as well as motivation theory and needs theory, the paper made analysis of low employee engagement of JSL, and work out the root cause is from leadership of management team, company policy and implementation, compensation and benefit.
