Video watermarking technology is a field of information security in recent years, which can be widely applied to multimedia copyright protection and authentication, etc. But software realization of video watermarking is slow, so it cannot satisfy the requirement of real-time processing. Because of fast speed, the hardware realization of video watermarking has important practical value and significance. This thesis deals with H.264/AVC video decoder and improvements, designs a kind of video watermarking embedded system based on FPGA, implements a frame extraction module and DCT/IDCT transform module. The main work of this thesis is as follows.(1) The H.264/AVC video decoder are analyzed, an improved adaptive IDR frame DCT domain watermarking algorithm is realized. It uses image sub-block feature classification results to adjust the watermark embedding strength.The improved algorithm has the integrated use of the watermark image multi-step scrambling transformation, further enhances the security of the watermark.The whole experiment by use of the MATLAB simulation has proved the validity of the algorithm.Finally, the algorithm is designed with FPGA hardware, and the correctness of the design is verified using waveform simulation.(2) The algorithm is combined with the H.264/AVC video codec, and designs a frame extraction module based on H.264 stream.Using waveform simulation verifies the correctness of the design.This module can realize IDR frame and function of the I frame extraction.Finally using PC as a intermediary, the function of the whole watermark embedded system is realized...
