Especially, at this electronic commerce times that combination and purchase take place frequently, many problems which traditional EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) can't solve occur.On Nov. 1998, U.S. Merril Lynch corporation brought forward the concept of EAI(Enterprise Information Portal). Afterward, the connotation and the extension had being enriched and expanded continuously. EAI solves the integrations among each application, EIP settles the integration of EIP between each application. EAI is the backstage supporter and foundation of EAI. Nowaday Enterprise Application Integration must possess the features of EIP.This paper gives an instance of Enterprise Application Integration possessing the features of EIP: Software Application Integrated System of ShanDong Province Agriculture Machinery Research Institute. The system main interface uses the interface of OA system that the users know well and contains six modules. The "Personnel Data Integration" module implements the data integration between the Personnel Management module of OA and the GPMS century edition. The "Finance Management" module achieves the information integration with the UF system. The "Technology & Industry" module implements the integration with the MS Project software that the Technology & Industry Department and all R&D Centers (or Corporations) use to manage scientific research projects.
