Cloud manufacturing is a service-oriented, on-demand use of green energy and intelligent networked manufacturing a new model that combines the existing cloud computing, networking, big data and other information technology and manufacturing grid, virtual manufacturing, and other advanced manufacturing technology, manufactured using the internet and cloud services platform, integrating all kinds of manufacturing resources, and unified, centralized and efficient management, to provide users with a variety of on-demand, reliable and quality service. This paper analyzes the problem of water-saving equipment manufacturing industry is facing, combined with National Technology Support Program projects, water-saving equipment manufacturing mode manufacturing environment under the cloud has been studied mainly for research papers:(1) The concept and characteristics of networked manufacturing, manufacturing grid, application service providers of the three existing manufacturing mode has been described, but also on the concept of cloud manufacturing services model, features and application mode are analyzed. Finally, several features of this manufacturing model were compared, it presented the advantages of cloud manufacturing model in some ways.(2) Cloud manufacturing resource virtualization and services. Finally, the design of the functional structure and architecture of cloud manufacturing resource service system, analyze the cloud service systems used in manufacturing technology, and the development and operation of a prototype system for a detailed elaboration. Cloud manufacturing service systems in the application of water-saving equipment manufacturing industry to achieve a shared collaboration between enterprises, enhance the level of specialization and cooperation of enterprises, improve resource utilization, reduce operating costs and improve the level of enterprise information and economic benefits.
