This article takes the production information management of the PC component(Prefabricated concrete member) precast factory as the research background. Aiming at various problems in factory management, in order to satisfy the modern production and management of PC component precast factory, the ERP system for PC component precast factory is researched and designed.Fist, the function model of the ERP system for PC component precast factory is built by the method of IDEF0. The internal and external relations of the system, top diagram, and the function model of each layer are also completed by the same method.The function of the system is analyzed. The function structure of the ERP system is determined, including subsystems of production management, purchasing management, inventory management, sales management subsystem, financial management subsystem, the subsystem of human resource management and enterprise information setting. The function structure of each module is analyzed. The process of system business is researched.Second, the BOM and MRP and it’s automatically generated method are researched. The product structure tree of PC components is analyzed. The product structure tree is realized based on recursive algorithm. The classification and the encoding method are determined through Studying on relevant knowledge. The calculation of BOM is realized by using recursive algorithm. The calculation of MRP is realized by using recursive algorithm.Third, the Purchase model is researched. Finding out the problems of purchase,according to the practical needs of the factory, combined with existing procurement model, establishes mathematical model, including Cash on Delivery and Deferred payment. The Best purchasing point and Purchase quantity are calculated under the two cases, providing the basis for purchasing decisions.Finally, the database of ERP system is selected and designed. The basic functions of the ERP system is achieved by using C# programming language. Thebasic framework of the system is built. Three modules of the ERP system are mainly realized, including the production management, purchase management and inventory management system. The operation process of the ERP system is introduced.
