The Internet is an indispensable tool in the society, economy, and people’s daily life. However,the stable of Internet is premise of widely using of Internet technology. Therefor, the technology of network monitoring arises at the historic moment. The technology of network monitoring can be used to monitor the overall state of network, so it easy to predict the problems that may exist in the network, and then take measures to ensure the stable of the network.In this paper, the monitoring system based on Zabbix software not only can monitor the network system, but also can be extended to other aspects of the application. Furthermore, the system that to monitor the state of embedded robot based on wireless communication is developed.Zabbix is an open source software for network monitoring. The monitoring system based on Zabbix software is composed of user management module, data acquisition module, data storage module and log monitoring module. The method of combination of the Simple Network Management Protocol and the Management Information Base is used to as the module of data acquisition. In order to raise the efficiency of data reading, instead of traditional database,use the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol as the module of user management which can greatly improve the efficiency of user authentication. In the consideration of security, the implement of the automated code tools which based on the Application Program Interface of zabbix software is used to avoid the direct manipulation of the database when collecting monitoring data. The implement of log monitoring system based on Flask used as the supplement of Zabbix for the lack of text data type displayed. In this paper, a comprehensive system of network monitoring has been implemented which can complete the monitor task of software and hardware based on the four modules mentioned above.Further more, we developed the the monitoring system and data acquisition system of the state of embedded robot which based on the wireless communication. The monitoring system of embedded robot state composed of embedded robot, monitor server, monitor client, remote login terminal, and the method of data acquisition and data transmission which based on given code. The monitor system of embedded robot can be used to monitor the state of the robot’s battery, speed and distance from obstacles. The monitor system of embedded robot reflect the multivariate application of network monitoring system.Finally, this article explored the inadequacies of system remote operability, independently solve fault monitoring, data analysis and other aspects. And made some prospects to this system which developed into a coverage data monitoring, remote operation, monitoring and forecasting,early prevention features intelligent system.
