Switchgear is assembled together by the primary and secondary equipments according to specific circuits. It is the complete sets of electrical appliances and is mainly based on the switch. It is used for power generation, transmission, distribution and conversion of electric power. With the development of smart grid, there are more and more high requirements of intelligent switchgear. Intelligent switchgear is closely related to the development of computer technology, sensor technology, power electronics technology, digital signal processing technology and network technology. In conclusion, intelligent switchgear is a high technology product which combines control, measurement, protection and communication functions. This thesis does research on the design and implementation of integrated monitor device and background supervising software in intelligent switchgear, which mainly contains on-line monitoring, control, communication and data management functions.Firstly, this thesis analyses the whole structure and the working principle of intelligent switchgear and integrated monitor device. Starting from the functional requirements and performance parameters, this thesis supplies the design requirements of the two modules. Based on the design requirements, the thesis supplies different design schemes and determines the final design scheme of integrated monitor device based on NUC950 and C/S mode network communication.Secondly, the thesis implements the detailed design of hardware circuits. The hardware platform is divided into NUC950 system module and power system module. The hardware circuits contain NUC950 minimal system, data storage circuit, serial communication circuit, network communication circuit and so on. The thesis also discusses anti-interference design and reliability deal of printed circuit board base on hardware circuit design.Thirdly, the thesis describes the establishment of the software development environment, and then analyses software design flow of system software and application software of integrated monitor device and background supervising software in detail. It also describes the development process of interactive interface on touch screen. Upon the completion of the hardware and software design, it states the test procedure with other three modules in intelligent switchgear in site. Through testing, the basic functions of integrated monitor device and background supervising software meet the design objectives.Lastly, the thesis makes a summary of the research contents and the main work of the author. The further improvement of integrated monitor device and background supervising software is finally raised according to the existing problems.
