The power system is going towards reliability, high automation, and more development of information technology in horizontal direction. The controlling of the grid has become the key point, especially the controlling and protection of the power system play an important role in the switch cabinet at home and abroad. According to incomplete statistics, there are quite a few power system switchgear with fault of different degrees, some of these faults are from quality problems themselves, more important reason for switching is the current lack of effective monitoring tool cabinet, therefore, research and development of a new type of high-precision, high reliability switchgear monitoring and fault diagnosis system is of great significance. The content of this research is the designing of the intelligent control system according to switch cabinet as the object.Combine the project status and development requirements, according to the current relatively simple switchgear monitoring shortcomings, the switching equipment for switching the state cabinet position, temperature and humidity regulation, missing phase detection, timely, intelligent management. First, the hardware design, to highly integrated high-performance ARM microprocessor core, supplemented by the corresponding peripheral circuits, the management circuit, greatly reduced the workload of the system hardware design, because of the complexity of power system environment, there are several source of interference nearby, therefore the system uses a lot of anti-jamming measures to ensure the system work normally under complex environment.In software design, using C language, assembly language development tools, hardware platform based on the migration of the operating system, to achieve efficient operation; optimized interrupt the application of the software structure is clear and easy commissioning, which at the same time used the host computer to realize the next crew real-time monitoring, using VC++editing interface features, making the whole system more humane.This topic is intended to adopt new design ideas to make intelligent switchgear control system more in line with modern requirements of electrical equipment to meet the market and different customer needs.
