With the development of instruments,instruments have found wide applications in people's life, and have become an essential tool for people to get information, get to know and modify the nature. Nowdays, the level of the development of instruments has become an important indication of modern science and technology. With the rapid development of the micro-electronics technology, automation technology, computer and software technology, instruments have been changing to become increasingly miniaturized, network, intelligence and versatility, the direction of product performance is going to be high-precision, high reliability and high environmental adaptability.According to the system requirements, the Embedded Instrument Based on Human-Like Control (EIBHLC) designs hardware inferface circuit based on ARM9 processor S3C2410 , and designs the device drivers and the program of function modules based on Embeded Linux. During the design process, the advanced technolog—In-System Programming is used and integrated intelligent control algorithm library is designed . EIBHLC has friendly man-machine interface and has obvious advantages in data processing, data communications and intelligent control.There are four parts in the thesis. The first part explains the development of instrumentation, Embedded System overview, the purpose of this research, and the main contents and innovation. The second part introduces the EIBHLC hardware design with the "core board - extended board" implementation and then describes the circuits of every part separately. The third part designs the EIBHLC software, including the transplantation of U-Boot and Embedded Linux, designing the relevant device drivers and the program of function modules. The fourth part is about the design of intelligent control algorithms library. It's one of the important characteristics of EIBHLC. At last, the main research work is summarized. Combined with today's information of technology industry, this thesis makes the prospect of the development of EIBHLC.
