Design And Implementation Of Enterprise Information System Monitoring Platform

With the development of computer science and internet, information system plays an important role in company’s operation and management. As information systems become more improved, system maintainers are facing more sophisticated network structure, service logic, configuration manmagement and so on. Since most enterprise information systems are gradually built to meet the need of companies’ development, they usually lack of a union monitoring platform to maintance. It brings the dificullties to the maintenance work. Due to it, designing an enterprise information monitoring platform is nessisary.Based on the sufficient study on latest information monitoring system, the detail requirements of enterprise information system monitoring platform are made. The requirements meet the needs of daily information systems operating. According to centralized monitoring, the platform has three layer archteture, including the front of monitoring platform, Zabbix/Piwik server and data cllection. Zabbix, an enterprise-class open source monitoring software, is the core of the platform. Piwik is also chosen as supplementary. The platform has realized main functions, including data collecting, data display, alarming, traffic statistics, trend predicting and so on.A single-index moving method with fuzzy is improved. This algorithm does well in the trend prediction on performance data. It helps maintainers predict the performance of enterprise information system. Loadrunner is used to test the platform. The results show the platform can maintain 100 concurrent accesses within its tolarence, and it satisfies the need of the next three years.Since the platform is based on open sourece software, the cost is cut down as well as increasing the flexibility. Most enterprise information systems are small or middle size systems. Therefore, our monitoring platform can be use on common small or middle size systems’ monitoring. According to the test, the platform meets the need of system maintenance and improves the efficiency.
