Design And Implementation Of Laboratory Information Management System Based On Internet Of Things

With the increase of the government’s investment to university laboratory construction, the numbers of laboratories and laboratory equipment are growing and the complexity of the laboratory management is increasing. Therefore, the realization of scientific, standardized and informationative laboratory management will become more and more urgent. Most of the existing laboratory management systems can not meet the management needs under the new situation, so we design and develop a laboratory management system based on digital networking technology which not only has the basic functions of laboratory management, but also can achieve real-time remote data acquisition and management of laboratory equipment running status. In this thesis, innovative works are as follows:First, basing on the overall analysis of the needs of the laboratory digital management system, the thesis determines the objectives of the laboratory digital management system, which allows the overall design scheme of the system based on three-tier IOT structure.Then, basing on the analysis and comparison of relevant modes of wireless communication, the thesis selected Zig Bee as the underlying communication network, the laboratory digital management system proposed a new algorithm based on Z-Stack protocol stack to achieve energy-saving Zig Bee protocol, then the thesis uses this algorithm to build the network layer of the system and verify the effect of the algorithm..Finally, basing on all the methods and schemes above, the thesis completes the design of the hardware and software of the system, then by the designs realizes the whole laboratory digital management system. At last, the thesis tests each module of the system and then completes the overall test. The test results show that the design of laboratory digital management system succeeds to achieve the goals of the primary needs.
