With the research on Smart Grid Technology are deepened more and more, the purpose of energy saving and environmental protection is more and more specific. The scientific, intelligent utilization of electricity will be come ture by redistribution and management of the electric power in the the supply and demand sides. On the demand-side of Smart Grid, The building energy consumption plays a very important part. Therefore, strengthening management of energy performance of building plays a very significant role in reducing the waste of energy on the demand-side.In this paper, focusing on the actual demand of the management of energy performance of building, the management approach about energy performance of building at demand-side of the Smart Grid is explored and an intelligent building energy management system with a set of information acquisition, remote transmission, analysis and feedback control was implemented, combining with the wireless sensor network technology. The system consists of perception layer, transport layer, network layer, and application layer. The detailed information about the power usage and operating status of different electrical equipment was collected by perception layer dynamicly and in real time. Then the information with useful suggestions was feed back by the network layer to users, which can help users to further make reasonable decision on power using. At the demand side of Smart Grid, the reasonable allocation for power energy is significant for reducing the waste of electrical energy to promote energy saving and emission reduction.
