With the development of wireless sensor networks,wireless sensors are also popularized in daily life.At present,with the maturing of microelectronic technology,wireless sensors are moving toward small size and low power consumption,but limited power supply has seriously restricted the use of wireless sensors and has become the biggest problem of wireless sensor networks applications.In urban environments,batteries for wireless sensors are easy to replace and can access to the city's power system;wireless sensors in natural environments are not easy to replacement.Domestic and foreign scholars have put forward a lot of solutions.For example,they use energy management strategies and energy storage with higher energy density to prolong the life of sensor nodes.However,further studies are needed to solve the problem of self-power supply.This paper introduces a design which use solar energy to provide energy for wireless sensor network node,and optimize the localization algorithm of sensor nodes to reduce the energy consumption of nodes,this paper foucs on prolonging the wireless sensor network lifetime in natural environment.It contains the following three aspects:(1)A solar charge and discharge controller suitable for wireless sensor is designed in this paper.The hardware part of the solar charge controller is ues AT89S52,PCF8591 and peripheral circuit as the main control module,LM2596 voltage regulator chip as power supply circuit,charging chip TP5410 and peripheral circuit as the charge and discharge circuit;The software part of the solar charge and discharge controller uses the C language to realize the main control program.(2)In this paper,we take and advantages of particle swarm optimization,propose a location algorithm for wireless sensor network based on improved particle swarm optimization algorithm with adaptive mobile node.The algorithm can well meet the accurate positioning and low energy consumption of water quality monitoring network sensor nodes.(3)This paper has realized an environmental energy self-powered system for water quality monitoring network,and constructed an application system.The system can monitor every parameter of the water environment,and improve the working time of the system by using solar energy supply and low power software algorithm.
