China is the largest producer in fishery all around the world. However, the growth rate ofnational fishery output is on the decline due to overfishing of fishery resources. Therefore, it isvery important to develop aquaculture industry, especially cage culture with many advantages.However, traditional cage culture mostly depends on the experience and frequent patrol offarmers. It is difficult to keep the cages in the best condition in large-scale aquafarm withmany cages, which limits the aquaculture output. Based on this situation, this paper usesmultiple sensors and combines with the wireless network technology, embedded and automaticcontrol technology to establish multi-layer network topology structure and optimize thenetwork transmission according to the characteristics of cages distribution, and designs anautomation control system based on wireless sensor network, which can monitor and controlmulti-parameters of cages in real time. In a word, it has practical significance to strengthen themonitoring of aquafarm parameters and improve feed quality and aquaculture output.In this paper, the main work is as follows:1. This paper reviews the background and development of water quality detection and WSN.The characteristics of cage culture is analyzed. Based on the wireless sensor network andInternet network, the overall design of multi-parameter wireless monitoring system in cageculture is proposed.2. Aimed at the detection and transmission characteristics of parameters such as temperature,dissolved oxygen, the TI Z-Stack protocol stack is analyzed. The feasible system structurewith sensor node, sensor gateway and WEB server is built. The hardware design, includingsignal acquisition and regulation, wireless communication, SIM card interface circuit andothers, is completed. Multi-parameter experiment system based on wireless sensor network incage culture is set.3. Aimed at the characteristics and function requirements of cage culture, the running mechanism of software system based on the protothread state machine is established. Theembedded system kernel cutting based on WinCE6.0and the application softwareprogramming method based on the kernel are studied, which lays the foundation of real-timeand reliable data transmission in multiple parameters network system. The STM32internalstorage structure and its corresponding relationship with Cotex-M3kernel are analyzed. Themethod of remote firmware updating which be applied to cage culture is designed.4. The function modules including data acquisition, serial communication, Ethernetcommunication, remote control and remote firmware updating over the air are implemented.The WEB interface and monitoring screen based on Django are designed. After experimentson the built system, the results show that this system has the characteristics such as strongreal-time performance, high reliability and simple operation, and can be monitored on avariety of intelligent terminal over the network. In a word, this system has practical value.
