With the progress of science and technology, all aspects of people’s life are changing dramatically and the introduction of new technology has great impact on traditional teaching model. The development of new teaching concept and model represented by "Mobile learning" leads to education and teaching reforms. As the representative of the new media, WeChat software platform has received more and more attention from learners for its auxiliary teaching. WeChat public platform assists classroom teaching and traditional classroom teaching to complement each other’s advantages, which stimulates learners’interest and improves the teaching effect. Under the guidance of relevant theories, this paper introduces the auxiliary teaching of WeChat public platform on Photoshop course in colleges and universities. With the method of contrast experiment, this paper discusses the auxiliary effect of WeChat public platform by conducting learning ability test, knowledge test and attitude questionnaire for students.Before the experiment, the study first conduct the learning ability test for students both in experimental classes and comparative classes, in order to ensure the operability of the experiment and the homogeneity between experimental classes and comparative classes. Then we test the teaching effect of WeChat public platform by assisting classroom teaching. Through analyzing the data from students’grades and questionnaire, we come to the following conclusions:WeChat public platform helps to promote learners’ understanding of knowledge; to improve learners’ satisfaction for the course and enhance learning interest; to develop learners’ autonomous learning abilityThis study proves the effectiveness of WeChat public platform in classroom teaching. In future, WeChat public platform should be promoted to other subjects to assist classroom teaching. Therefore, the classroom teaching quality and students’ learning effect can be improved.
