Nowadays, the auxiliary teaching platform based on the network is generally introduced into the modern teaching. As a supplement to traditional teaching methods, the use of network-assisted teaching platform can not only help students to choose different time and places for independent studying according to their actual situation, but also provide further communication between teachers and students, which will strengthen the information feedback. Therefore, the personalized and diversified features are urgently needed by the assisted teaching system. However, most of the existing assisted systems only concentrate to the course content browsing, courseware, and test questions downloading. The interactive link is weak, and the pertinence of personalized guidance is not strong. Therefore, the establishment of a common assisted teaching platform is imperative.In view of the analysis of the research significance and research status of assisted teaching platform, this paper developed a network assisted teaching mode which integrated the computer science and network technology to modern teaching activity. We design and implemented a self-learning assisted teaching platform for college students. The platform is centered on knowledge points, expanded by the various modules. Through the records of students’daily learning information, it can form a specific network support for students and improve learning efficiency; and also provide supplementary reference information for teachers, improve the effect of classroom teaching, making teaching process lasted after leaving the classroom. Every link of teaching is supported by the platform, including the sharing of teaching resources, course management, information exchange, independent testing, intelligent answering, operations management, etc, and the rights of different roles in different functional modules is strictly controlled.Based on the J2EE platform, the system adopted a lightweight web framework:Struts+Spring+Hibernate and popular MVC design mode, which has a good reusability of code and enhances the maintainability and scalability of this program.
