Research Of Sensor Network Gateway Based On The Android Mobile Terminal

Internet of Things has been development rapidly in recent years,and wireless sensor networks as an important part of their perception layer,has become the focus of people’s research.In this paper,the existing Android phone is used as a sensor network gateway considering the opencharacteristics of sensor networks,the access of sensor information such as temperature,humidity,light,gravity,etc.can beachieved with self-contained sensor function of Android phone and the convenient access conditions of expansion,meanwhile,information can be accessed to platformusing Bluetooth,WiFi,NFC and other ways of communication.The coverage and application range of Internet of Things platform can be extended greatly with the realization of this gateway,especially in the case of a restrictedfixed communication,such as the wild,temporary venues.Firstly,the software stack structure ofthe operating system in Android is analyzed in detail,and the advantages of the operatingsystem compared to that of other Android phones are pointed out;Next,a variety of wireless communication protocols are introduced,the emphasis is the analysis of the protocol stack structure of Bluetooth 4.0 BLE and ZigBee,and the conversion mode of networking protocol are analyzed.Then,the protocol stack structure of wireless sensor network is analyzed,the advantages of Android phone as the sensor gateway are pointed out,and theconcrete steps of implementation are analyzed and explained.Due to the limitationof hardware resources,only the Bluetooth 4.0 BLE form of transmission methods is achieved.Finally,combining room monitoring system,the subject of the paper is tested,the test results of Android mobile terminal and PC terminal are demonstrated,and the test results are analyzed,which demonstrates thefeasibility of Android phone as a sensor network gateway.
