Chinese fan culture began to be widely used since the 2005 Hunan TV Super Girls, the development of new media technology has strengthened the interaction between the fan groups in the virtual reality and the virtual reality, fan culture has gradually formed a new type of cultural development trend.This research stands in the background of the new media environment, according to the "fan" in today’s environment, as the research object, and the communication activities of its online and offline are discussed, a systematic study on the culture of the fans and the fans in the new media environment is carried out.According to the research status of fan culture in the past years, the author explains the background and significance of fan culture in the first chapter, and the academic achievements of the scholars at home and abroad in the fan culture research are briefly combed. On this basis, the author made the groundwork for the later research.This research starts with the individual fans, by content research, questionnaire investigation, case analysis and other research methods, and I found that the transmission strategy of fan culture (including online and offline) show a new way, the initiative and organization of the fan group is greatly strengthened,and the interactive language is also more lively. The rise of social media which represented by micro-blog, provides a new channel for fans and idols, and the interaction between fans and idols show real time. Fan culture shows a stronger abundance, come up with a new image into people’s vision in the network environment.This paper discusses the great significance of the cultural communication of the fans to the individual and the society from the study of the characteristics of fan culture under the new media environment. The author put forward the corresponding countermeasures to solve the disadvantages of fan culture and how to create a healthy culture of fan culture communication environment.
