In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s economic construction, the number of all types of production safety accidents is correspondingly growing. Frequent accidents posed a grave threat to people’s lives and property, and has brought many inconveniences on people’s production and life. The introduction of computer technology to improve the awareness of accident data analysis and processing capabilities, but there is few studies on application of three-dimensional GIS technology in 3D visualization of safety accident situation. Based on safety accident data in many years has been extracted from the official announcement, combined with GIS data, the 3D visualization system of safety accident situation has been designed and implemented. To meet the needs of different types of users, the system includes a safety incident data based OSG Earth three-dimensional visualization management subsystem and browser-based security incident data collection and three-dimensional display subsystem.Three-dimensional visualization management subsystem which is based on OSG Earth is used for the administrator user, who can conduct a more comprehensive accident data browsing display, data management and analysis through this subsystem. The subsystem is running on the local computer, by loading different three-dimensional models and vector data, displaying and managing accident data of different types. The main realization technologies include three-dimensional rendering engine Open Scene Graph, OSG Earth,3D Studio MAX modeling tools.Security incident data collection and three-dimensional display subsystem which based on browser is used for ordinary users, and the subsystem can be used for accident data entry, query, modify, three-dimensional presentation of accident data and other operations. The subsystem uses B/S architecture, mainly related accident statistics dimensional visual display, and ordinary users can use the browser to complete the appropriate action. The main realization technologies include HTML5 Canvas, Baidu ECharts-X components.The aim is to extract the basis of information on security incidents gathering useful information, combined with OSG Earth, HTML5 Canvas and related technology, implement security incident data visualization system based on local application and browser, by a three-dimensional globe for different types of accident data loading different models, and the combination of two-dimensional chart shows statistics on accidents and other different modeling and presentation, which make accident data become clearer, intuitive, more obvious on contrast, and the system can provide the basis for better decision-making basis for the prevention of accidents in production.
