| Ling Long magazine was called Ling Long Picture Magazine, which was founded in1931.During to the outbreak of the Second World War, magazine ceased publication.During the years it had been issued 298 terms. Due to historical data defects, the actual collection was 260 terms. There are important reasons that Ling Long was to be popular in China in twentieth Century 30’s, worthy of academic research. This article through the literature method, text analysis, mathematical statistics, logical thinking and theoretical analysis method, conducts the research to the Ling Long journal of sports news reports on women, Ling Long showed the process of women sports development of the modern Chinese. The author I through the Ling Long is divided into two categories of sports and non-sports, and the international and domestic regional division, in order to study women sports news. in the magazine reported that the total, report types, reports, topic reports figures, reported five projects, and draw the following conclusions:From the quantitative analysis of sports reports than the total number of non sports reports, with reports of domestic large-scale sport competitions, especially National Games, news and pictures as the main means of news reports; In the genre, mainly concentrated in the news, communication, reviews three categories, only in the non sports reports appeared the supplement genre of literary; In the selection of the topic,the bigger distinction are between sports and non sports. Sports competitions are mainly talked about the results, athletes and events. The non event sports are mainly to fitness weight loss, sports stars, sports, national sports development; In terms of character selection, Yang Xiuqiong is the main character of the report. In the choice of sports, consistent with the reported figures, mainly concentrated in the sport of swimming with Yang Xiuqiong, rather than non sports mainly around the rope skipping, boxing, skating and other fitness programs; the change of the report is mainly reflected in the content and style of the report.
