The construction of Smart Grid and Ultra-High Voltage improved the requirements of grid construction logistics management, which asked for the new technology to enhance the intelligentization, automation and informatization of the control methods. Also the in-depth of grid marketization reformation boosted the influence from suppliers and third-party service companies, which request introduce the idea of construction supply chain management to strenghthen the connection of participants. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is an prospestive technology, which can support automatic identification, data acquisition and information distribution. It has been successfully deployed in multiple industries and companies supply chain management, improving the efficiency and strengthen the mutual cooperation along supply chain. Whereas there are only a few researches talked about applying RFID into grid logistics management and related achievements haven’t come into completed system. However, this technology hasn’t been utilized widely so far and only a few people realized it in power grid Co.Therefore, this article firstly filed the present research about RFID and specified the concept of this technology. Also this article condluded that the grid construction supply chain needed RFID from the analysis of paticipants features, management flow, present problems and Smart Grid requirements. Secondly, this article realized the RFID application status in grid construction supply chain management by questionnaire and obtained three main factors, named management idea, investment and used technologies, which affectd populatization of RFID form Pricipal Component Analysis (PCA). Thirdly this article designed the grid construction supply chain logistics management information system on the basis of RFID application methods. Last but not least, this article stated the application methods according to participants in supply chain, presented the key issues of RFID application, displayed the management flow by practical example and verified the effects of RFID by two mathematical Analysis. In the Conclusion, this article suuplied the data of application status and specifical methods to use RFID technology in grid construction supply chain logistics management.
