The Application Research Of RFID In Supply Chain Logistics Management

Supply chain management is an important trend of enterprises' operation management now. As a new auto-identification technique, RFID, which has become an effective weapon on enhancing efficiency of supply chain management, is now hitting the fancy of more and more enterprises by its outstanding advantages , such as non-contact reading, non-easy damaged , rapid speed of reading and writing, simultaneous multi-object identification, etc.This paper takes RFID as an object of research, discussing the RFID's standard and its application in domestic and foreign application. On the base of this, it demonstrates the perspective of its application in domestic logistic and supply chain, indicating the problems of application and relative measures.Firstly, The paper states the application of RFID and the resulting benefits from manufacturing enterprises which are the beginning of the supply chain to the retail enterprises which are the end of the supply chain. Then the SCM whole course visualization application scheme is presented based on the characteristics of RFID technology and the requirement of supply management, that is to realize monitoring all levels of supply chain, from material supply, semi-manufactured product and manufactured product's production, storage, distribution, transportation to retail, even after-sale service, by making use of RFID technology which is powerful of data collection, storage and disposal, so as to improve the transparency of supply chain and the acuteness of responsiveness of supply chain .Secondly, through the application research of RFID technology in the working link of supply chain, the mode of supply chain logistics information management system is proposed based on the RFID technology using the manufacturing companies, distributors and retailers as the examples which are the most representative.At last, this paper analyses specifically the potential problems in the application of RFID in the supply chain environment and then presents corresponding measures, the paper particularly studies the integration of information management systems based on RFID of different enterprises in the supply chain links, presents the developing idea based on middleware, SOA structure and Web service so as to realise information exchange and sharing in the distributive application system, in the end designs the integral solutions of the SCM whole course visualization based on RFID, verifies the outstanding advantages of RFID application in the fields of multi-links articles tracing and management through the example of the application of RFID in the fast consumer goods.The conclusion summarizes the research work and discusses the direction of further research. It is expected that through the analyses and research, this paper can provide some valuable recommendations for the enterprises while applying the RFID technology, so as to change the traditional management pattern of supply chain and enhance the efficiency of enterprise operation.
