Study On Library Information Service For Enterprises In High-Tech Industrial Park

Over the years, the libraries in Wuhan area play an important role in the high-tech industry to provide information services, and have made outstanding contribution to the rapid development of the regional economy. Library information services for "Wuhan Optics Valley of China" provide valuable experience for the development of high-tech parks in other parts of the country.Enterprise information service of the library is an important part of the information service of the library, all types of Wuhan libraries provide the service to for high technology industrial park enterprises, such as information collecting, processing, organizing, processing, delivering, and the information products the enterprise activities, is not only beneficial to improve the information guarantee of enterprise information Park, but also conducive to the expansion of the library business.Questionnaire survey and on-site observation, interviews on the "Wuhan Optics Valley of China" and different types of libraries in Wuhan area is conducted. The empirical research of the library information service for business contains two aspects: the supply of the service and the demand of the service. From the demand side, the information needs of the high-tech industrial park include comprehensive information need, technic information need and instrumental information need. From the supply side, different types of libraries in Wuhan have different information service modes. The embedded information service mode of the public library, the discipline analysis service of the university library, the information resources service center of the scientific library and the information cluster service of Optics Valley optoelectronic information industry public service platform all work effectively. The study found that the library information service has library resources advantage, library service means and content advantage as well as professional literature information service personnel advantage. However, there are also constraints of the internal and external methods. The factors of internal constraint concern the perception and capacity of the library information service personnel, library resources, information service mechanism and the service mode. The factors of external constraint include the publicity of the library, the status of the library and relevant policy and regulation factors, etc.Libraries should obey the demand-oriented principle, sustainable service principle and interests sharing principle. And libraries should analyze their advantages and disadvantages objectively and then take corresponding strategies, i.e., integrating information resources within the region, specific focus on the service level, improving service method, boosting service quality, improving the communication mechanism between the library and the enterprise as well as exploring library information service for business regarding "library-enterprise cooperation information service platform", "information organization alliance", "embedded task collaborative services and other various modes to promote information service cooperation between the enterprise and the library.
