With the rapid development of science and technology, conference system develops to a trend of non-paper, digitization, multi-function and intelligence. Based on this background, this article presents a design scheme of an interactive intelligent conference system, which has the function of interactive transmission, wireless communication and human-computer interaction. Specific works are as follow:(1) Proposed the overall design architecture of interactive intelligent conference system based on Internet of Things. And the design architecture took ARM microprocessor as the core, embedded in the Linux operation system, and used the ZigBee module as wireless communication mode.(2) Completed the board circuit design of intelligent conference terminal. And the circuit was composed of power circuit, JTAG circuit, reset circuit, Nor/Nand selection circuit, LCD display circuit, USB circuit, serial circuit, and so on.(3) Completed software development of intelligent conference system. Firstly, designed and built the software development environment, and the main work is to establish cross-compile environment, transplant BootLoader, cut kernel and produce file systems. Then, the terminal software was designed to realize each function module, such as conference attendance, conference vote, conference service, conference information query, conference shorthand and so on, which enriched the function of intelligent conference system software. Finally, the upper computer management platform software was developed to realize the management and the overall scheduling of the intelligent conference terminal.(4) Improved the communication protocol in order to realize the interactive transmission between the upper computer management platform software and intelligent conference terminal, which applied to the coordinator node and the terminal node for the aim to realize the interactive communication between the nodes.(5) Tested the intelligent conference terminal after accomplished the software and hardware design. The experiment results indicate that the interactive intelligent conference system was stable and reliable, the overall design achieved the expected result, and met the requirements of low power consumption.
