The Development And Prospect Of Taizhou Museum

Taizhou,in the middle of Jiangsu Province,is a Chinese historial and cultural city.2100 years’ history give the city rich cultural heritage. The museum is like a city card,reflect the unique charm among differenct cities.As a deep cultural carrier,it matters much in culture spread and heritage.From 1922 to 2014,as the beginning"TaiCounty antique depository"founded,there are 18 museums registered.In addition,there are other state-owned unregistered museums and private museums.The enterprise of museum in Taizhou is still developing.This article introduces Taizhou museums from these aspects:history, typies,quantity,distribution,education and service.From the observer’s point of view,and through local investigation,the author presents the basic appearance of Taizhou museums.and points out some potential problems.This research also gives some suggestions for the sustainable development of museums in Taizhou area.
