In recent years, along with the policy support to the non-state-owned museums, the non-state-owned museums in China have developed vigorously. In previous studies on museums, there are few systematic studies on non-state-owned museums.Only focus on history and museology.Based on this, this paper combines the research methods of urban planning and architecture, takes the practice of oujiang wenyuan project in lishui city as an opportunity to investigate the non-state-owned museum in lishui city, and tries to make a preliminary analysis and discussion on the current situation and development strategies of its planning and design.Combined with typical cases, this paper mainly analyzes the factors influencing the planning and construction of non-state-owned museums.Firstly, the positioning of the venues is sorted out from the perspectives of policy change, market development and superior planning.Secondly, the venue layout is divided into three types:single type, combined type and settlement type. Finally, the paper analyzes the trend of the development of non-state-owned museum space from independent space to public and digital space.Combined with the practical situation of oujiang wenyuan project, the following three development strategies are proposed for the planning and construction of non-state-owned museums in lishui city:first, proper role transformation. With the development of economy, museum space needs more innovation in business model.Links with cultural and creative industries and tourism resources can promote cultural communication and exchange, and at the same time lay an economic foundation for the operation of museums.Second, the reasonable pavilion group settlement.Different types of museums will be centrally arranged to enhance the cultural attraction, and at the same time, relevant supporting facilities will be introduced to form a settlement pattern and maximize the spatial value.Third, abundant architectural space. The museum' s requirements for space, while ensuring cultural characteristics, can be combined with new technology for innovation,so that the future of the museum to extend more possibilities.
