Research On The Social Service Of University Library In Hefei

Along with the rapid development of Internet technology, the Chinese spiritual and cultural needs is increasing. A large area of the need gap existed between Public Library and ordinary people. So, now, the university library as the knowledge gathered should undertake its social responsibility, provide a better social service, improve the quality of the whole community, build a socialist harmonious society, and promote the economic development, to realize the national reading and lifelong reading.This paper will analyze the social service of University Library in Hefei area from six parts.The first part:first, the paper analyses the background of the social service of universities in China, and then discusses the purpose and significance of the social service of universities. By study the current situation of the domestic and international research,the paper studying understand the present situation of university library service. Then, through the research methods and ideas, the paper points out the way of social service of university library, and finally the paper point out the innovation of this paper.The second part:This paper defines the concept of social service of university library:the socialization of University Library and the socialization of university library. Then the paper discussed the feasibility and necessity of university library. Finally, the paper explains the basis of the social service of University Library in our country.The third part:This paper firstly analyzes the current situation of University Library Service in Hefei, and analyzes the present situation of the social service of university library. Then, article survey the data on the University library socialization service in Hefei, compared the service object, service time, library card use scope, service charges, and the other aspects, find the similarities and differences between them.The forth part:The fourth part discusses the problems and causes of the social service of the University Library in Hefei area from seven aspects, including:Social service concept is backward.
