There are many toxic and harmful gases in coal chemical enterprises. The safety hazards caused by toxic and harmful gas leak can not be ignored. In this thesis, the network system of coal chemical harmful gas safety monitoring and controlling system of coal chemical industry is collected through the collection point of toxic and harmful gas leakage concentration information, and then use ZigBee network to transmit data. System nodes are divided into data acquisition node, relay node and network coordination node, The hardware of the system includes a microcontroller CC2430 chip, a ZigBee RF front end, and other peripheral components. In this thesis, the overall structure of the system is designed, and the hardware design of the system is given, The design and implementation of the software are introduced, including the collection node, relay node, the core of the coordination node and the background service procedures.Currently Yan Kuang GuoTai company plans a new leakage concentration detection and alarm unit. In design work, using Yankuang Cathay many years of accumulated experience, lead to the air separation plant automation design more suitable for YanKuang GuoTai field application. The new method is to realize the automatic management and control of the process parameters through the idea of software engineering, so as to realize the automatic record, the instruction, the control, the alarm and the interlocking function of the process parameters. Production engineer can track the operation situation, control situation and potential production problems of the process flow of all leakage concentration operations, make sure to call history and view the historical production process as needed. Firstly, the function of the software of the air separation unit is analyzed, then, the process management function of the detection and alarm unit, the measurement and control function of the process parameters, data management functions and so on are analyzed, the main software functions of the system are discussed. System software design is based on ZigBee architecture, remote users can access the system data through the browser, which is convenient to use, and is conducive to maintenance.The software of this system is realized by VisualC++ programming. The communication between Zigbee module and the hardware of the communication is through the RS485 serial port. Toxic and harmful gas leak data were monitored in real time.After several months of running and testing, we come to the following conclusions: the coal chemical harmful gas leakage concentration safety monitoring system of the Internet of things the technical performance indicators are fundamental to the system requirements and design requirements and have the features of reliable performance, convenient management, networking and flexible, with a certain value of popularization and application.
