Sichuan Xichang new generation of weather radar stations in 2005 completed and put into operational use, but because it is the first in Sichuan meteorological weather radar, technical support and the lack of relevant experience, so that a new generation of weather radar has been in Xichang high incidence of failure. And a radar in the event of failure generally require manufacturers to stop repair technician, but due to pit poor road conditions, weather radar maintenance process can not be carried out smoothly, and can not be accurate because the Xichang radar technology and experience of staff on duty and other reasons in the first time given the location and details of failures, resulting in a lack of maintenance in the repair process often associated with replacement of the device, so that technical staff can only re-contact the factory deployment of the associated device, which makes weather radar maintenance adds significant cost.To solve the Xichang NEXRAD fault repair fault can not accurately convey information, lack of technical experience on duty, can not determine the desired device and other maintenance problems, the paper fault occurs Xichang radar data for seven years running time basis, using a band waterfall model feedback to establish a new generation of weather radar fault diagnosis and management information systems. In this paper, the system first comprehensive analysis of the feasibility and needs analysis to determine the functional requirements of the system. Followed by a comprehensive analysis of the new generation of weather radar used to repair the fault radar data, radar technical fault repair and replacement of the device information, the establishment of a data model of the system, and the design concept model and database model boredom. And then under the existing platform based on ASP.NET to achieve a new generation of weather radar management systems. Finally, based on the automated testing of the entire information technology has been tested.As can be seen from the test results that the system functionality and performance to meet all the relevant requirements, can be used in weather radar fault management and fault repair and other applications, can effectively improve the processing efficiency of the new generation of weather radar malfunction in the operation of the business in order to protect the weather radar business availability. And the whole system has the following advantages:⑴Radar systems can provide troubleshooting, fault management, and other functions, can provide fault information to the duty officer, appeared in Radar Fault time timely access to accurate fault information to the early identification of maintenance programs and the required devices, allowing timely maintenance and reduce maintenance costs(2) The entire system is relatively independent, both can run independently, it can also be used in conjunction with each other and with other systems, and to provide appropriate support to other business systems.⑶The system is in use, it can be accumulated under the radar troubleshooting data for weather radar can protect the Sichuan business practicality to provide data support.
