With the continuous development of Internet technology and multimedia technology, video surveillance technology has been widely applied to the units, enterprises, shopping malls and other public places. Video surveillance system references, on the one hand the unit management in real-time monitoring of the visible area, the timely processing of all types of emergencies; the other hand, can greatly reduce unnecessary manpower, improve efficiency, and security at the same time safety management and monitoring to achieve macro-microscopic evidence of effect. With the surveillance video of the increasingly high-definition quality, video storage capacity increases, the increase in demand for video access, the type of business is increasingly complex, and the existing network monitoring underlying components have been unable to improve the update only through the upper layer software and different hardware, network, storage and other integrated together to achieve the demand for high-definition monitor image, so the IP network based video surveillance system came into being.In this paper, video surveillance systems based on IP networks were studied and analyzed, and based on actual monitoring requirements Zhengzhou comprehensive Free Trade Zone Customs, select the relevant hardware, network and database optimization, design a set of high-definition digital video surveillance system. The main research contents are as follows:1, the difference between the comparison of existing analog surveillance systems and high-definition digital monitoring system, according to the monitoring requirements, the proposed program-definition video surveillance system based on IP network, and gives functional module design of the system is analyzed between the various functional modules the association;2, through the analysis of high-definition video capture, transport and storage, combined with the application requirements, given the high-definition cameras and encoder decoder selection and access, designed for high-definition video transmission fiber-optic network, and gives the database access structure;3, combined with practical application scenario, test case design, discovery and improvement of existing problems.
