With the continuous development of universities and the expansion of campus area,campus security has increasingly become an important issue for the development of colleges and universities.Network video surveillance has paid great attention to the management of colleges and universities due to its wide range of applications,powerful functions,and flexible use methods.The digital video surveillance system has been widely used and flooded in various fields,especially in the rapid development of network video technology.However,digital video surveillance systems still have many deficiencies.For example,problems such as slow transmission speed,insufficient network bandwidth,low video resolution,and inconvenient management and storage in the background.In this paper,taking the digital high-definition video surveillance system of Chang'an University as an example,the overall architecture of the network video surveillance system is constructed,and specific design schemes are proposed in four parts,namely,data collection,transmission,storage and management of the front-end video.The specific functions and performance of the campus network video surveillance system are analyzed.In the transmission of video data,the synchronization of audio and video data based on the timestamp synchronization of the RTP/RTCP protocol is proposed.In the monitoring mode,the application of moving object detection technology changes the problem that previous monitoring devices can only record image data without active alarm function.In the storage technology,this article compares three kinds of storage technologies in detail,according to the specific situation and the functional requirements of the instance,select the IP SAN(IP storage area network),which can achieve seamless connection between the storage network and the application network,and can provide Better remote data replication and disaster recovery features.This paper specifically considers the system's lightning protection design to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the system.The digital high-definition video surveillance system implemented in this article has achieved the expected results since it was put into use,and has produced a good campus security guarantee effect.In the subsequent research work,the performance indicators of the system will be improved,and artificial intelligence algorithm will be added to optimize the system to make the system more intelligent and realize a higher-level intelligent campus network video surveillance system.
